Poemotion is an exploration of the interaction between sounds and visuals in real time. The sounds are related to the selected measurements of the camera vision area brightness value of moving Moiré patterns. Moiré patterns are large-scale interference patterns that can be produced when an opaque ruled pattern with transparent gaps is overlaid on another similar pattern.1 The title and graphic patterns are derived from Takahiro Kurashima's book Poemotion.
