Frozen

Frozen is an interactive composition for two Wiimote controllers, custom Max software, and Kyma. The piece is based on audio recordings collected during the time of the ice storm in Eugene Oregon 2016. The sonic materials selected include the sounds of striking iced tree branches with chopsticks, scraping ice, and walking on snow. The two Wiimote controllers are used to shape a sort of duet where each musical part interacts with the other musically and visually in real time.
